A Pennsylvania governor has Photoshopped a black woman into his campaign picture.
Tom Corbett, who is fighting for re-election, has struggled to court minority voters in the past.
Last year he was forced to apologize after telling editors of Al Dia newspaper he didn't have any Latino cabinet members - adding 'if you can find us one, please let us know'.

Now it has emerged the image of a black woman beaming over Corbett's shoulder is in fact a fake.
In an investigation by Buzzfeed's Andrew Kaczynski, the same picture of the woman was found on a stock image website.

Her shirt color has been tinted and the image has been flipped.
But in the posed photograph - titled Financial Advisor Talking To Senior Couple At Home - her expression is identical.

I think what's worse is the defense the Corbett campaign is giving. They're saying EVERYONE in the picture is photoshopped.

So, somehow, through almost 4 years of his term as governor, they can't find a decent picture of him with his supporters to use. What a putz.

A black woman smiling in the background of a group picture that appears at the bottom of every page of Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Corbett?s campaign website is actually a stock image, photoshopped in.

Everyone else in the graphic was photoshopped in, too.

The Corbett campaign told BuzzFeed News on Thursday evening, ?The whole website footer graphic is a work of Photoshop.?

Asked if everyone else in the photoshopped image were stock photos as well the Corbett campaign told BuzzFeed News, ?the graphic has both stock photos and actual photos in it..?

Corbett is current battling in a tough campaign for re-election in the Keystone State against Democrat Tom Wolf.

On one hand, that's fucked up.

On the other hand all of these images are stock photos you buy online - just like dating sites. It's called advertising. All candidates do something similar.

Senator Roberts beats that

Kansas is known as The Sunflower State for all the wild sunflowers and some commercial acreage. Actually most sunflower seed farms are in N/S Dakota.

But that didn't stop Kansas senator Pat Roberts. Running in fear of losing re-election, his campaign has a picture of a Ukraine sunflower field on his web site. Photoshopping a Black person would be no big deal. But most of the people that elect him are farmers. This just might piss them off.
