How Google fights piracy
http://i.imgur.com/duBRfGA.png
As you can see their newest update is helping to end piracy. Before the update the real site was in spot #1 and after it is now below the tubes. Good job, Google! |
That's funny.. Google sucks. Gotta use yandex.
|
Trying the exact same term on my end brings the real website as #1, it also has few imdb listings, urban dictionary, just one sigle tube listing "mr big..." channel page on 4tube
|
I get the same results as the OP with the paysite at #5.
|
On my end it comes up second after xvideos. Third place is the mrbigdicks....dotws, 4th goes to pornhub, 5th goes to empflix, 6th, 7th imdb.
Searching in US. |
Good GOD I love Amy Reid!!!
|
OP must have spend a lot of time on Xvideos to get that result.. :2 cents:
|
I'm always so fascinated at how people here are so deficient at math that their brains will not even allow them to begin to consider what it means to re-organize trillions of indexed pages. Every page is connected to every other page. One cannot move without moving others. A simple understanding of the basic pagerank algorithm would help you. Pages move. They move back. They move for a lot of reasons... not just the single reason you chose to assume in this case.

Did Xvideos and Google make some kind of deal? :disgust
|
Google shows different results depending on your location, language etc., try this for USA results:
https://www.google.com/search?hl=en&...ogle.com&cad=h This is UK: https://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=e...le.co.uk&cad=h etc. |
Why have a page title: You have reached mrbigdickshotchicks
I would have: You have reached Mr. Big Dick Hot Chicks:pimp |
Pray for google dance!
|
Some stuff from page six on page three so there is hope

Like I said in the recent thread about Google finally doing something about piracy...they said the same thing a year+ ago and nothing changed, it's not going to happen.
|
There are many things you can do to change this. It's easy to outrank xvideos for such a small, insignificant longtail. Learn some SEO. You really can't expect Google to do all that work for you.

Google could solve these piracy issues in a single day by blocking the top 1000 or luckily even more, dmca offenders based on the number of notices Google receives weekly.

It's not google's job to help tubes or webmasters or brands or be against them, their job is to deliver what people want, if they like tubes g gives them tubes it's simple as that. The only thing that they have to do is to ensure that they don't help fraud, infringement ect. and obviously they are not doing a very good job with that.
If they start punishing entire domains based on huge amount of complaints then they will actually do their job in ensuring they don't support infringement, apart from that their algorithm is doing just fine, they give surfers what they want, last time I checked search engines are supposed to serve the users not the website owners, adwords is what servers the website owners, some people fail to realize that! ps surfers in us and uk really like xvideos :1orglaugh |
xvideos will eventually butt heads with google and go down like everyone else imo. which tube site will come up in its place is the million dollar question :P
google has always been against single domains dominating serps with multiple pages per kw. xvideos dominates EVERYTHING right now, so imo its only a matter of time before they lose real estate like everyone else ;] |
i get the original site as rank 1

In terms of tubes they do give surfers what they want (free product) but they're not doing as well as they used to. Quote:

official site #1 here, xvideos takes the next 5 places. quick & useful free tool: http://www.whatsmyserp.com/serpcheck.php |
Using your tool I got xvideos #1
|
I got Xvideos on the first page and the OPs site on page 2.
Perhaps someone can explain this better to me or at least shot down my idea. But if Google is such a problem why not just block them all together and market a site without them? Does everything have to be about search engines? |
You need more seo for the site. Get more backlinks, fix onpage seo, put a few free videos so that people will watch and share them. Google is just an algo, not a cop, it shows its' users what they want to see. If it start policing its results manually, it will die as yahoo and altavista died 15 years ago, and there will be a new search engine.
Why, after all, you think your site should be on the top of a SERP? Not on the top of some paid and curated directory, but in SE? It's not the job of Google to watch for piracy proactively, it is impossible to do so. If you think its pirated just file DMCA to both xvideos and google. Google do remove DMCAed results. |

For example.if you trade traffic, you can be hit if your trades are penalized by google. If you are media buyer, you can lost converting source of traffic if source is penalized by google. |

Tits and ass photos are just a sideline for me these days. (I would starve if I had to depend purely on smut to pay my bills) But I work as an events photographer and to market myself I meet alot of people. I had out cards, talk to bar owners, try to get myself published, etc. I suppose what I'm asking is if it's possible to do similar to market a porn site? It seems to me that a little face to face personal marketing would probably build better long term sales stability. Not to forget that there's the additional bonus of not having to depend on a some self-serving 3rd party for profitability. |
