What the UNITED STATES thinks of EUROPE(and reverse)
I am not really sure what means the last one(eu continent about uk)
|
They think it is a country.
|
lol... what UK thinks of continental europe (the huge taxes made in Brussels) is the same as what continental europe thinks of continental europe.
|
That's pretty good I might post it on GFY

To 90% of US Americans Europe is of little importance other than many identify it as where their families immigrated from and what the American Revolution was about.
They have no conception nor interest of European politics or economics. Apart from the few consumer brands they know that are European, Europe is just a bunch of nations to them. I would guess if you asked on the street what the EU is maybe 50% of the respondents would know. We Americans all live in trailers (caravans) and carry semiautomatic weapons just the same as many Americans believe Europeans never take a bath ... |

American do think of Europe at times, at least My associates and I do.
We think of Americans fighting with England for independence and the French coming to a young Americas aid. We think of England attacking the US again a couple of decades later in 1812. We also think of the Spanish-American war. We think about how America spent the better part of a century fighting with European nations immediately after it's independence including European support of Confederate States during our civil war. We think about Europe as a war torn area in both WW1 and WW2 and how America got involved to help both fight those wars and rebuild after the fighting. We think of the lend-lease act that supplied much of Europe during WW2. We then think about America hosting the United Nations for decades and often wonder why no other nation has stepped forward to host it. The real questions that should be asked or considered here is: Do Americans care about what Europeans think? Do Europeans care about what Americans think? If we all spent our time worrying about what others think we would never accomplish much in life. |

Great! I will not touch on the Brits sting of multiple ass kickings or bail outs during wartime. |
I don't think most Americans have a real animosity toward Europeans -- I am just pointing out that they are indifferent.
However, our opinions of various regions within the US are very similar to the animosity between European states. |

Quite good jokes, and not so far from truth. I share most of the images (if I simplify them). |
