Is clearXchange the new Pay Pal for adult website sales?

Wells Fargo and BofA are using it now in their online banking systems, but I haven't seen any advertising on the product. Not sure if all banks can use it, but it says you can 'add' a bank.

Looks like a great way to transfer funds safely from checking to checking similar to Pay Pal, but without the Pay Pal account hassle and the "looking over your shoulder" bullshit that Pay Pal does with adult sales. Fuck Pay Pal's attitude about adult material and closing accounts with money still in them! This p2p systems looks very simple and safe for all parties.

So you think we can use clearXchange for adult sales? There is no account, so you wouldn't need "permission" from the bank to use it. People are sending you money and in return, you process their membership access. The delay can be disclosed in the sign up page. Not good for cam sales, but for general site access where a delay might not kill the sale vs. getting sign up privacy, it might fly. Just set up the email to notify you on your phone, then race to your computer and process a membership manually. Might not sound good, but for us small fries that make only 3 or 4 sales a day, it could be gold. Plus, I think people will love the security of not giving out their credit card numbers in an online join page. No rebills.... :( but.... increased sales due to privacy. Kind of like offering Bitcoin sign ups, but without the coin.

It looks like it's been out for a few years, but I've never seen it before until I logged into my bank and saw it as a way to transfer money directly to an account, without disclosing to the other party any private info...and by sending money via email only.

Looks very interesting and promising.

Found out that it takes 3 days to transfer money. But when it goes instant, I'm sure they can blow away pay pal.

by the response, I guess nobody cares anyways.

(sound of crickets)

Bladewire 10-23-2014 07:15 PM

So 3 day delay is not a turn off? The banks will charge a fee after its out of testing mode, not a turnoff? Only 3 banks so far and they are just testing it.

a lot of obvious barriers and its not live yet thats why nobody is responding but someone extremely bored like myself at the moment. :)

Never heard of Paxum ??

no, I agree, right now the 3 day transfer is a joke... BUT... the soon will replace that with a model just like pay pal. The banks want to take over pay pal's business. They are on their way. Once they agree to a small fee, it's a good as gold for instant transfers. I really hope they pull it off, could mean a huge change for all adult commerce. It's like a pay pal for adult!! Of course, no rebilling auto, but I'll take more sales any day. A growing number of people do not want to enter their credit card digits to buy porn.

The good thing is Wells Fargo and B of A have already installed it in their online banking. Those are heavy hitters. It's just a matter of time before all banks follow. clearXchange is cooking nicely. We just have to wait for the timer to ring.

Imagine people buying direct from your site and sending you money without paying that fucking 14.5% rip off fee??? I hope CCbill and all those other ass fucking processors lose tons of business and finally get forced to lower their ass raping rates.

The banks want to bring transfer back to the banks. I'm all for it. Fuck those 3rd party processors.

You can't stick up a "pay here" button for paxum in a website? The buyer would have to sign up and get an account with paxum right? Huge waste of time and buyer will run.

But when the bank goes instant transfer, you have to manually process the membership, but that delay can be disclosed in the website. Sale goes to your phone, then you process the order within 1 hour or 12 hours, whatever you post. I'm sure some people will still purchase even though there is a delay. You could offer a lower price by using clearXchange to help get sales with it. Send the processing savings to the buyer. Just a thought.

Activate the account and wait the 3 days for you to receive the $.
Just take the risk of not getting the $.

I wouldn't process the membership until the funds cleared...

but... I'm not going to install in my sites until the bank gets instant transfer w/fee like pay pal. But I've read enough to know it's coming. It's going to be glorious. Fucking GLORIOUS.

On my Chase account you can't cancel a transfer like this once you send.

There will be a fee in the future. Banks will not be tolerable in dealing with disputes. I'm sure they'd close your account very quickly.

I only get a 2 or 3 refunds a year, not worried about it.

If there is a dispute, I'd just refund it. Why risk bank getting involved.

You're not worried about it?

Are you currently able to process adult transactions with BofA or Wells Fargo?

Every time you post, it's more and more clear that you've never been involved in anything serious. Do you think people are rational and try to resolve disputes? They just charge back. :2 cents:

This looks like ACH between the banks in the USA only.
Intrabank when both have accounts at the same bank and done internally is instantaneous.
ACH settlement time is actually 24 hrs like 14:00 the next business day.
The delay time is the middleman ClearXchange ans the postback to the recipient.
Smoke and mirrors closed loop marketing. This is how they are getting around AML and ACTA (possibly).

epassporte is still the future (and the money) in motion

These banks are too big to fail.
However, they suck for adult business notwithstanding Wells Fargo with their account policies but not their attitude toward any adult processing transactions.

No. I'm talking about using their new funds transfer service in the future when it goes 'instant.' The bank doesn't give a shit about what the money is for. In the very near future, how is any bank going to monitor millions of daily transactions of in coming and out going small transfers?

Pay pal can monitor sales because you use their buttons in your site and they can trace it. I'm sure they have spider programs running all the time to fish out adult websites using pay pal 'pay here' buttons. But with a bank transfer only using email, how in the hell will the bank find out it was for an adult website sale?

99% of the time when a member wants a refund, he will contact the website first and ask. If rejected, then he goes to the bank for a charge back. If I ever had a transfer sale in dispute, I would just refund it so no bank involvement.

I still see a possibility here when the transfer service goes instant.

Educate yourself. No matter what I say, you will disagree. I'm not here to fight you on facts. If you want knowledgeable partners or mentors in this industry you're going about it the wrong way. You want answers given to you, instead of educating yourself or partnering with knowledgeable people. I'm not down for that. Enjoy being fucked with by others and have fun :thumbsup

I seriously do not understand what the big deal is?

I'm just thinking about using a new way to make sales with an app that will be the norm in about 2 or 3 years. When the banks streamline this shit and make it instant, it will take a chunk out of pay pals business.

I'm not looking for answers or your help or anything. Just posting my opinion on the matter. So what if new ideas are stupid and fucked up in your eyes. I don't care, and neither should you.

btw, I still make sales with cashier's checks. How fucking archaic is that? People mail in payments to join. Takes over a week to sign up. There are all kinds of ways to make sales. To me, shelling out 14.5% to a processor is fucking insane and behind the times. I'm always looking for something to come along and I think the banks are just around the corner with this new technology. There's no account to ban. It's just email, send a receive. Not sure what all the hub bub is about bub?
