what is with peoples obsession with hydration these days? if you're thirsty take a sip of water.. unless you're in a desert or running a marathon it never really comes up as an issue for anyone..

nobody is living longer by getting their 8 glasses a day in...

dark yellow = this pee needs more water
pale yellow = this pee is just right

I thought the same yesterday when I saw an article about hunting dog's hydration, waterfowling dog's to be exact (that often has something to do with water). But pooch gotta drink, I don't deny that. Well, not uncommon issue to mention redarding summer practises, but the same issue dealt also with freezing duck hunting waters.

i have 2, a lab and a curly-coated retriever and keeping them hydrated is pretty easy.. when they are thirsty they drink.. can't make them drink! hehe

Yes, many people don't know that, or at least in the right scope. Works the same with the other way around, especially if you drink coffee.

But more importantly, to me, is the ability to track sugar and protein intake and keep an adequate hydration level consistently.

I use a low tech but effective method of tracking everything I drink. I just count the empty cans......burp
