Most adult programmers are bad enough in adult ... why put yourself through that for mainstream? Hehe. Let me know if you need any help reviewing candidates. :thumbsup

I disagree. In adult there is a lot of people that wrote a script then call themselves a programmer. That doesn't make them a programmer :2 cents:

That's just an extension of what I'm saying. Most "programmers" in adult can't define design patterns, talk about unit testing, why not to use singletons, the right way and wrong way to go about a PDO call, etc .. it's depressing. The ones I've hired are the result of a long process of careful screening and evaluation. It's really brutal finding the "good" ones, and even harder to retain them.

My kids' mom is taking on jobs. She's more than capable and more than reliable.

She sucks at estimating, so she usually ends up saving people money in the long run. :1orglaugh

Hit me up via email (link in sig) and I can put you in contact.

A girl programmer? How's that work? Last I checked, programming requires use of logic... :1orglaugh

I've often wondered the same thing, but she's got a BS in Computer Science and a Masters in CIS. So perhaps it's learned. :1orglaugh

That's because the "good" ones don't want to build your "facebook killer" idea for $600. And the "good" ones are already being paid very well for what they do, doing what they like. Nobody in adult understands that.

Thanks for the recommendations so far.. We have a skype interview set up for one of the ones recommended from this thread tomorrow.

I will contact others depending on those results..
