Apple or Android?

Now I have owned both devices in the past. And its time for me to do an upgrade again. I currently own a windows phone, thought I would give them a test run. Great phone, very good battery, but horrible apps in my opinion in there app store. I know from owning an iPhone 4 in the past and a Samsung Galaxy III, there have been a lot of changes to both companies as far as Specs/Hardware and OS. But still up in the air when it comes to which device to go with. Which would you choose and why? Just trying to narrow down my deciding factor.

Cool first post.

Also try blackberry, they run android apps and has a great new OS! BB Hub is awesome.

djroof 10-25-2014 01:12 PM

Android rulezzzzzz

Tam 10-25-2014 01:55 PM

I tried a few phones on the Android system and I didn't get along with them at all - may have been just the ones I chose - but the battery life on every single one was terrible on a good day - Apple Battery life is the best of anything I've used - they are pretty intrusive - but I still choose Apple over Android - it may just be a case of what I got used to - not sure, but that's my opinion and preference. :2 cents:

Apple is better for me.

I've never used BlackBerry. I guess I just don't hear much about them. Do they have a good battery life as the iPhones?

candyflip 10-25-2014 02:09 PM

I have an iPhone 6 and an LG G3. Apple's hardware is second to none.

Android has come a long way, but the iPhone experience is much more polished.

Android L might change that.

fitzmulti 10-25-2014 02:14 PM

Android...

Chosen 10-25-2014 02:54 PM

I prefer Android :pimp

xsabn 10-25-2014 03:09 PM

Android here :thumbsup

NaughtyRob 10-25-2014 03:21 PM

Too many issues with the new iphone 6.
I have a Galaxy S5 Active and its amazing. I love it. (I've had many iphones before)

Wizzo 10-25-2014 03:24 PM

Galaxy s5 is amazing, but really just depends on what you prefer. I prefer Android because I can customize it more than I can with iOS and I prefer to swipe rather than use two fingers to type.

ErectMedia 10-25-2014 05:09 PM

Wanna tweak/modify da shit outta it like a 20 year old that drinks 24 red bulls a day while playing role playing games=Android

Don't need to tweak the hell of it and like a nice classy look with a strong eco system that runs solid=Apple

:2 cents:

Both things you can do on an iPhone. They're so similar now it really doesn't matter.

So I default to hardware and bought the best of both worlds.

Mediamix 10-25-2014 05:45 PM

Apple.. Always Apple.

My house is not an Apple ecosystem, so I'll probably stick with Android.

I just started swiping and wondered why I haven't been using it for so long.

MPGdevil 10-26-2014 05:35 AM

I am on WP as well but couldn't go back to boring static icons.

OfferGrindLawrence 10-27-2014 11:31 AM

I been researching the Nexus 6 phone. From what people are saying about it, it sounds pretty good.

OfferGrindLawrence 10-27-2014 11:34 AM

So I've been reading about some upcoming phones. The Nexus 6 caught my eye. The specs for this device look really good. Has anyone heard about this phone? If so do you think its worth getting?

venus 10-27-2014 12:19 PM

here is the link to it
https://play.google.com/store/device...us_6_blue_32gb

its pretty much the same specs as the new droid turbo is going to have

Except not loaded up with Verizon's bloatware. It will be as pure an Android experience as one can have.

And of all the carriers, Verizon has historically been the worst with regards to upgrading Android on their phones.

venus 10-27-2014 12:40 PM

Verizon does not put near as much crap on your phone as Samsung does...because the last moto phones had such low specs I went with a galaxy s4...hate Samsung phones...cant wait to get back to moto when the turbo comes out

Android, tnx n' bye

Rochard 10-28-2014 11:41 AM

I have a Galaxy S5 and love it. It took a while to get used to because it's bigger, but once past that it's great.

All the phones are the same at this point. The bullshit above about apps is... Pure bullshit. We all have the same apps made by the same company with very few differences.

It's not bullshit and has been proven by a number of outlets over the years. Even Google's own iOS apps often outshine their Android offerings.
