Trick of Treat

16 times.

16 times, that is how any times I have had to get up in the last hour and 15 minutes to answer the door to kids going "trick or treat".

I bought 2 big bags of candy which have nearly gone, I was hoping to keep some for myself..

That's exciting! It's great to see kids in the spirit of it! Just a few years ago, y'know before technology happened, the streets were filled with kids on Halloween. Last year, we saw like 3 kids.

My house can vary greatly. One year I will get 30-40 then the next 3-4. Last year I hooked some kids up. I had bought a couple of boxes of full size candy bars. I ended up only getting about 10 kids who all loved getting the big candy bars. About 8pm when the last two kids showed up I gave them all the rest. They each got about 10-12 full size candy bars. They were freaking out. It was fun to see.

I won't be home this year, but I wonder if those kids will be back.

I had about 15 trick or treaters and they all came in one big pack. Two minutes of my life and I was done for the evening...and the big sister chaperones were dressed as slutty witches, so it wasn't all bad.

this year i will walk about 5 miles and collect about 400 dollar worth of candy and resell on the train station. I love this time of the year, dress up with mask get free candy and free money the next day, scare a few adults, i heard someone had bad candy around the corner and they give me there bags too

Horrible day for it here in Chicago, cold and windier than a mofo, got a few snow sprinkles as well, too early for this shit. :helpme

My mom in Florida hands out the candy she least likes first that way if she doesn't run out she ends up with her favorites. :1orglaugh

i'd say we got about 45 last night even though it was pretty cold. living in the burbs there is no shortage of kids and most people give out candy and decorate their homes. i always enjoyed halloween as a kid so i am willing to do my part to keep it fun for kids.

I set booby traps on the front stairs. Plenty tried, but none made it to the door...
