Iam checking new host to my sites. How about Hostgator dedicated servers?
How they are technically reliable, have references?

I have not used hostgator for years, some people think they are good, many think they suck.

If you want dedicated self managed servers, few can beat the prices of OVH (http://www.ovh.ie/)

yeah, tell the guy who is considering hostgator to go with OVH... thats smart.
he will fall over and die and lose all his sites if he tries to use OVH.

hostgator sucks, do not use them for your dedicated server especially (mayyyyybeee shared hosting, but thats it)

Fully managed servers that will never ever fuck-up and can handle any newbie webmasters needs and are cheap as fuck? No idea. Maybe amerinoc.com?

Take a look at M3 Servers they have been nothing but awesome for me. :thumbsup

If you need managed, go with Hivelocity (make sure to choose their managed option) or Limestone Networks (also choose managed).
