Why would a successful internet marketer be an affiliate manager? ?
 

I heard some affiliates managers are successful affiliates marketers themselves and make good money doing affiliate marketing independently. If they make good money independently why would they work for a network? IMO all that would do is take time away from their independent business. There must be something really lucrative about being an AM for them to do it :pimp

Not necessarily. There are some people who like diversity in their daily schedule and some that like teaching others, etc.

One of the drawbacks of being an independent internet marketer is you can end up with just you and your computer for long periods of time. For some people that is paradise for others, not so much.

I am sure that there are all sorts of reasons that people might do it.

as an affiliate manager you get the insight what other affiliate webmasters are doing and improve your own methods to top all of them.
