In about 1990 I read a book by him about 2 boys. One was the hero, one was the villain, and I think they raped (Or planned to rape a girl)

Any ideas which book?

Ah, I had forgotten all about this book! The summary on the jacket (post above) instantly made me want to read it. As I remember, I enjoyed it. Strange twist.

Dark Rivers of the Heart was good 'n twisted, too.
