Wifi versus 3G traffic

Hi all

Wifi traffic is so much cheaper than 3G - what are the benefits of 3G over Wifi to justify the price?

The way of billing is much more easy with 3G traffic. (carrier traffic)
so if you can make more money out of carrier traffic the price will be more expensive.
