Big Hero 6 is a movie worth seeing if you want to leave the theater with a huge smile on your face

Yeah I know it looks like it is a kid's movie but it is for all ages. The characters are inspiring, heroic, lovable, and magnetic. Skip whatever other movie you were going to go see and just go see Big Hero 6 and you will not be disappointed:thumbsup:)

Fun fact...Big Hero 6 is from the Marvel universe, but Disney made it because it seemed like a better fit for them.

Disney also own Marvel, so I guess they could do whatever the fuck they want with any Marvel property.

I loved it.

But, the short at the beginning made me tear up. It hit close to home. And I loved that even more.

Didn't you teach him to stop doing that? Word on the street is you quadrupled his money over night.

Actually no that probably isn't true, as not even Marvel can do anything with any other Marvel properties without legal BS.

For example, take X-MEN and Avengers. In last summer's X-Men, the character of "Quicksilver"'s relations are implied but never outright stated in the film due to copyright issues. Quicksilver is also in the upcoming Avengers : Age of Ultron but this was problematic too because of copyright issues. (They couldn't resolve them in time for Avengers 2012). The catch? No reference to Quicksilver's membership in the Avengers can be made in an "X-Men" film, and no allusion to his relations to the X-Men or Magneto, and they must be played by different actors.

Has absolutely NOTHING to do with copyright. Marvel licensed their properties to other studios prior to Disney's purchase and must continue to honor those deals. It is a licensing issue.

Definitely worth seeing, especially in 3D.
