US Gov Authorized To Manipulate ALL MARKETS

If you're concerned about losing freedoms in your country.
Well.... even the so called "Free Markets" are not free.

The banks are at it too:

Actually free markets fefer to free entry and exit, and freedom to trade altogether. Manipulation is another issue, not so freedom related.

From wikipedia, a reasonable definition: "A free market is a market system in which the prices for goods and services are set freely by consent between sellers and consumers, in which the laws and forces of supply and demand are free from any intervention by a government, price-setting monopoly, or other authority."

Maybe we are only just realizing we where never free, it was always an illusions and it's only broken now that the contrast between rich and poor has become as stark as it is now in western countries?

Who knows but seeing as even the media is being silenced over this, we don't even have a free media anymore:

The manipulation we are talking about is done by bying or selling. Anyone's rights to buy or sell at some price is not affected. You are talking more like about laissez-faire, a subset of free markets.

Although this is more like hair splitting as free markets have pretty much never existed if the laissez-faire is the definition for free markets, or the one you quoted. Any law regarding markets makes it not "free", as it's government's intervention.

Free market is just a theory or more like a model, and it is teached that way, as a theory/model, not as a something we have.

No shit sherlock.Remember how us banks failed in 2008 which caused recession?
Credit score companies was giving them A++ rating, yet when they failed they didn't paid any penalty for giving bad rating.

Today's news:
Regulators fine global banks $3.4 billion in forex probe

Why should the big banks have all the fun?

Bank of America, JPMorgan and Citigroup is in this forex misconduct too..... but forget the banks, the Government is the biggest player and it can fine the banks and extract the ill gotten gains from them.
