Woman +50 cats being killed after kitten gets rabies
 

WILMINGTON, Del. ? More than 50 cats and a woman in Bear, Del. are being killed after one of her kittens tested positive for rabies, public health officials said late Thursday.

Collection and humane killing began Wednesday. By Thursday night, 43 ? including the kittens' "mother" ? were euthanized,

The woman did have rabies vaccination certificate But , all are being euthanized to prevent the spread of the disease that is fatal.

The owner ? was given time to clean her home by inspectors, before being euthanized
