It converted better....then overtimr the ratio got bad. Is this normal for banners?

People get accustomed to same old/same old - and bypass stale ones.

You can try to Keep your colors the same colors the same colors as currently trusted brands. I did this for a logo, but an affiliate banner. I used the twitter colors and so far so good. I read an infograph a few months ago. If I can find it i will post it up. There are so many variables fro text, colors, content, borders, ext..

There is no right answer other than "testing". There is no right way to create a banner. There are no right colors. There is no right text. Additionally, different things work better on CPM buys or CPC buys. You have to look at what others are doing, copy,... test test test test and become your own expert in converting your offer.

I have had these on Xhamster NTVA, and they converted 1:15.

I know they are totally lame, but they caught your eye next to all the flashy fluid banners full of tits and pussies.

Saying that I don't see banners like this overtaking the adult industry :D
