Photographers: What brand lighting do you use?

I'm looking into getting new strobes. I have AlienBees B1600 but It has starting firing full blast no matter where I set it.

Thank you for any input or suggestions :thumbsup

Why don't you just send that strobe head in for service if it has an issue or just buy a new head to replace it if it is not functioning properly? I use Alien Bee strobe lights- along with Kinoflos and other methods of lighting sometimes- and they've been workhorses for me, especially given how inexpensive they are.

I had issues with them when ordering my lights, I paid in advance but only got one of my B1600's. I waited and waited for about 6 months before canceling my order and getting a refund.

Pro Photo: two D4 2400 packs and 2 Acute 2400 packs.

I have all of the light modifiers and soft boxes. This shit is bullet proof! I have taken one of the D4 packs in for repair. (Which is normal for the paces I put it through).

Had the some of this stuff for 12 years already. I get zero color shift when I shoot at different powers levels. Cant say enough good things about this gear.

Im a firm believer on buying things once.
