Whats the deal with Glamour Porn?
Is Glamour Porn a real niche, and is it searched for?
Is it just high quality images? Fill me in please... |
Beautiful people trying to fake the emotional side of it better. I am a huge fan. I never got into the pornstar look.
|
if you see no acne then it is glamour :)
|
hmmm still confused, for example Glam.com is website for woman, makeup, luxury, style, a more high end look of fashion, etc.
When I think Glam I think of the 80's hair metal bands :thumbsup |
It's how porn should be: beautiful.

I can see the appeal in glam porn. What I don't get is videogame porn. WTF.
Different strokes for different folks I guess. |

I personally love the look, the technical ability that it takes to shoot it, but I don't like the sex action.
I do know how its shot and I don't quite like how that style is more contrived and less real. Too many cuts, starts and stops to create a real looking final product. Too much of the directors hands on, minute, buy minute for my sexual taste. But I way respect the directors that are good at making it flow and look high quality. Glam does have a serious fan base and it does sell. Just Dave |

Glam isn't really a niche. It's a way of making porn that exhibitionists and fringe professionals generally can't do. And as much as we like to blame tubes and piracy for our woes, the proliferation of HD webcams, affordable SLR cameras and xxx friendly mobile upload spots (like tumblr) are also a huge problem. Any random slut can go into her bathroom and take selfies on her iPhone that match the quality of porn from 10 years ago. If you aren't shooting super high quality video/photo then the competition extends far beyond the pros.

glamour niche is mostly white girls :2 cents: look into it

There's also a whole bunch of sites where the set is a bed, sofa, or massage table, in front of a wall of windows or backlit white curtains, and all these scenes look the same. What's with that? |

I'm not complaining. It definitely looks great. :thumbsup |

It is boring as fuck but yes is beautiful.

head over to mc nudes and met art
|
I think the videos look beautiful but like others have said, the scenes are real boring.
I prefer amateur porn but there's obviously a big audience for this art porn since so many companies are producing it and we know it's not cheap to shoot. Blacked.com is really well done. It's not 'glamour porn' - 'glamour' is Twistys and Brazzers, X-Art and its imitators have an arty fashion commercial esthetic, the set is always predominantly white as is the wardrobe, the makeup is not 'glamour', subtle soft natural looking makeup. The look is similar to a style that many TV commercials use. |

I met up with the guys from Glamour Buckz Girls Webmaster Affiliate Programs in London. Good people and they have good stuff too. |

There is a market for this, like anything else, but saying it sells better just means you are missing out on the larger market base. |
I like it
|
It does very well for us.
|
For me I feel like I am looking at glamour porn if:
1) You budgeted more for the set (for that one scene) than you did for the models 2) You spent more on lighting than you did on the camera 3) You photoshop every stray hair, freckle and pimple out of each frame 4) There is one or more dedicated makeup artists on set (who don't do anything else) 5) Sparkle filter |
just too much plastic work done on the models mostly
|
I like it ;)
Honestly of there wasn't a Glamour Porn aspect to the industry I would not be in the porn business. I have no interest shooting gonzo. Lots of people do that well and it is well saturated. I aim for more of a fantasy style. I have been shooting glamour and glamcore since 1992 :) Different types of sex appeal to different types of people. I have no delusions that it is for everyone. I personally fantasize about very well dressed and made up super models that I fuck on Steinways in my apartment overlooking the Louvre :thumbsup To me GlamCore is a Niche just like feet or Chloroform Seduction. |

I think that there's a certain amount of confusion between glamour videos and romantic sex videos.
Producers see the popularity of X-Art and think that it must have something to do with the bright, neo-contemporary style. After all, the rest is just sex, right? Well, I don't think people watch X-Art videos because they secretly want to have sex in an Apple store. Monthly Google searches for "glamcore": 5,400 Monthly Google searches for "romantic sex videos": 74,000 The vast majority of people watch X-Art because they specialize in high-quality videos that show a man and a woman making love in a realistic and passionate way. IMHO, the set is irrelevant to most viewers. What are people looking for in a "romantic sex video"? Realistic, passionate lovemaking between two people who look like they actually care about each other. Videos that they can actually watch with their partner and maybe pick up a few tips on how to pleasure one another. Romantic sex videos should also culminate in a long, satisfying internal ejaculation -- not a money shot. What man wants his partner to see that and say, "Oh look, he pulled out. Why can't you?" |
