From my experience working on legit productions such as TV shows you will be fed very well. Another perk:thumbsup I stood in the chow line for several weeks with this man.

$75 per day for something like 10 hours gets old fast huh? If anyone wants to try it out just look up Central Casting in LA and you can work. They always need crowds for that little pond in Marina Del Ray where they shoot beach scenes. LOL

While it is strange to pay to be part of a movie, with Iron Sky it's more of a grass roots fan funded kind of thing... I donated to the first one if I recall correctly - you say "Nazis in space" and I there with cash in hand.

There is another movie being produced by someone in the porn industry, a steam punk thing, that is being put together the very same way - funded by fans. It stars Malcolm McDowell and Richard Hatch.

that being said i would feel really insulted if anyone thought i would not know that usually extras are paid...

i would never voluntarily waste 12-16 hours for 50 or 75 bucks for something i don't care about

Well, it has been many years since I did it, late 80s, but back then it was $100 a day and I don't recall days that lasted more than 8 hours but it was sit and wait, sit and wait, eat, then sit some more.

That being said, I look forward to hearing Ma's experience; could be cool

Isn't it dependent on the looks mostly? If you are good looking - difficult and if you are plane jane/joe - almost impossible?

I think the sentiment was that nobody understood that this was a unique movie for you. I mean that you could not find ANY other movie that you would also care about + you would not have to pay for being in it (or if you wanted to support you could still donate to the budget anyway).
