Google Analytics Vs Awstats
 

I am a little bit confuse in the Awstats i see i have daily traffic of 4k unique visitors
when i open google analytics it show me 300 users
how this is possible and what is more accurate?

AwStats and Google Analytics will always have different stats. Google Analytics is not accurate, for various reasons.

can you please be more specific ,i tried to read about the difference between them and all said that google much accurate

If you want the real stats, check your logfiles of your webserver. You can import the files to a logfilereader.

I prefer Awstats.

I also noticed huge discrepancies in mine. Currently Google Analytics is only displaying my pageviews as 20% of what AWstats is showing. I like Google Analytics for its charting and visuals. AWstats seems to just work better.

I cannot figure out how to exclude my own IP address from AWstats. I'm assuming I have to edit a file on my server for that?

Awstats is counting all traffic including bots.

Analytics is not counting people with JavaScript turned off.

Awstats might be showing you page views and not unique hits.
