Anyone using the high-end version of Surface Pro 3 (i7)?
 

More specifically, is anyone using it with the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically editing and rendering clips?

I've been out of the clip/microniche game for a while but I might do some gonzo shooting on an upcoming trip to India. Thinking of trying just cell phone HD recording and post-production on the Surface Pro 3. How's the rendering?

I hear the pen is amazing in Photoshop.

I can't speak to Adobe, but my wife's work (a federal agency) made a substantial investment in the high end SP3s. Unfortunately, they have been having problems. One was hardware related where certain units refused to support external monitors and had to be returned. They had high hopes, but are already debating a change. I was about to purchase one, but had second thoughts once I heard about the problems cropping up. For such an expensive tablet/pc option, I don't think the Surface is quite ready for prime time. :2 cents:

I have an SP2 and even with the small upgrade to an i7, I wouldn't consider trying to edit and render video. I'm sure it could do it, but it wouldn't be very efficient.
