No substitute for Links Organizer

There is no substitute for Links Organizer, and this used to be a good piece of software that can be used.

One installation (php based), multidomain capability (one isntallation, multiple domains), link exchange form, and link exchange tracking (automatic checking by the program). PR, Alexa Rank, and Similar Web ranks / info could be factored in too.

I sent a request to Scriptolution, as there is no good substitute on the market now (except for some Windows programs). Something like that is searched by a lot of people, and there is no good replacement out there now.

Do you have an idea who could work and create something like that? It is easy, and it would be very useful. I and a lot of other people, would buy it right away.

Maybe people from Mech Bunny, or Smart Scripts?

Who else could do and sell something like this?

HomerSimpson 11-29-2014 07:14 AM

that should not be very complicated to make...
it's really odd that there isn't much software like that developed....

SpicyM 11-29-2014 07:31 AM

why do you need a substitute?

johnny_d 11-29-2014 07:39 AM

It is no longer updated and supported, I think. No longer updated, may mean that it's been like that for 3 years or more...

I've found this on a different forum:

"My server was switched from mod_php to php5-fpm and I don't know if it's because of that, but my Links Organizer now just shows a blank page. Reverting back to mod_php is not an option.

The trades are still displaying on all sites, but there is no way to edit/add/delete trades.

We tried upgrading to the lates LO, but still a blank page.

Their support forum seems dead and they haven't responded to my message sent through their website.

So now what?

What are you guys using for linktrades? I obviously will need an alternative to LO."

You can try Decry.pt

My understanding is that they can decrypt the script so that you can work with the source files and make any changes yourself - or hire someone to code/support it.

What features do you looking for ?

We might be interested, can you show me it on skype how it looks and what it does?

I haven't used the program, but I would be planning to use something like that, over time. This is what is used by My Pornstar Blogs, for example. It does and tracks link exchanges, for all their sites.

Links Organizer Sign up (please enter the verification code).

This should be fairly easy to make, and could be priced at around $100 or more. I would say that ROI would be guaranteed.

### Edit:

The new one could be better, based on how things work now. Option of adding multiple anchor texts, for example, and other things like that.

Program like that seems to be a very good thing, for xxx sites. I would say that it is probably a big part of why they sites have good search engine results (mostly Google).

johnny_d 11-30-2014 03:44 AM

Something like this can be more advanced too, and it would be very good. I think that the original program (Links Organizer) was tracking a number of clicks from all the links, or something like that. A lot of things could be added here too. (some seo parameters from, lets say Open Site Explorer, or Majestic Seo, like Market Samurai, for example, and things like that; I've seen stats like that at Linkspun.com now).

I would say, that everybody who works on xxx sites, and not only, would like to have a copy of something like this.

There are also programs who search for links, but this should not be needed here. In general, there is a lot that could be done / added here...

# # # Edit:

This is Linkspun:

### Edit2:

Program could be blocked by robots.txt, for example, or be hidden from the search engines, in some other way. It could enable people to request link trades from other sites in the same category, within a "network" of sites, who use this program. I am not sure. As long as it would not cause websites to get penalized by Google, it could be good too. A lot can be done here, and there is nothing good for it, out there, now...

Something similar to Linkspun.com, but software, php / mysql based.

### Edit3:

Connecting websites with each other would be something like a link scheme, so this would be probably, not very good. Regular link exchange is good, and it works, so this would be a good thing to have.

johnny_d 11-30-2014 04:05 AM

I guess people can get a copy of the program, add domains on which they want to use it and do regular, or ABC, ABCD trades with other sites. I think that this is exactly how the original program works. All this would need to be looked into / researched, but it is needed.

I think that the Links Organizer tracks the number of incoming (and outgoing, I am not sure) clicks too.

As far as I imagine, the Links Organizer is good, as is, but it is no longer updated, supported. If the new program, would be the same (could take into account multiple anchor texts), it would be probably, what is needed.

It is possible to download the program for free, after signing up to their site:

As previously mentioned, it is encoded with IonCube Loader script.

Situation similar to TGPX...

Actually, the owner of JMBSoft had the decency and courtesy to release his software unencoded so that existing customers could engage in peer-to-peer support and ongoing big fixes. The Cheapest Software Guy is still selling the encoded script, and continues to claim it has full support, while not supporting it at all. BIG difference. As it is, you can't even make a simple domain change on your license, which renders the script limited to the original domains on your license order, let alone fix some of the bugs in it.

Exactly. You have to respect someone who provided a means for his existing customers to patch bugs and modify the software once he abandoned it -- by removing the encryption. The Cheapest Web Software guy... umm, not so much.

I was just looking for threads on Link Organizer and found this 2 year old thread.

The author hasn't responded to any support messages on his forum in 3+ years and LO can't even handle links with https!

So yeah, reviving this thread to see if anyone found an alternative yet? If not I may put it on my long todo list.
