Good video editing software recommendation

Can you recommend something that I could use. Possibly free, but does not have to be. Does not have to be anything special, just something that does all the task needed for working on xxx tube sites, whatever may be needed (cutting videos, adding watermarks, I am not even sure what else may be needed for this yet; I will mostly need it for getting 8 or 9 minute samples from longer clips, maybe changing formats, but I am not sure). If anything, I will be using the Mech Bunny script.

I want to make a proper website. Proper software would be good too.

I would go for Creative Cloud for that. Although I second the options already mentioned: MovieMaker is free, but very basic. Camtasia is allright.

Adobe Premiere Elements is about $70 and that should do everything you need.

:thumbsup Not to mention allot of people have gone with Premier away from FCP and AVID and your skills will be in demand with a more popular program

Seconded. I like Adobe Premier Pro more than Elements, but still really good.
