A thought on zombies movies
 

Do you think that zombies stories are metaphors of civil wars ?
It could be the good moment to make some, couldn't it ?

I have over 50 zombie movies on dvd about i have 3 are based on war so the plot has been done.

Well a zombie movie involves usually the following aspects that you find also in a civil war:

- a normal city becomes dangerous
- a part of the population becomes a danger
- you can be contaminated (by an ideology)
- you have to kill the members of your city
- you have to stock ammunitions, weapons and food to fight the ennemy
- you are at a point where it's useless to talk with your ennemy.
- things are only partially destroyed (there is usually no huge bombings)

It's a metaphor for people who think that zombies are a metaphor for something ...

I always felt it was a metaphor for fanaticism in all its forms, from unbridled consumerism to fundamentalist extremism.

No, I don't think so. Those are more like afterlife related issues: heaven, hell and so on.

Dead arise; that is in the Bible too, but I don't think that they bite in that story.

Just watched warm bodies last night with my girl, good movie, enjoyed it
