NYPD Officer Who Fatally Choked Eric Garner Wasn't Indicted, Man Who Filmed the Incident Was
On the same day one grand jury decided not to indict officer Daniel Pantaleo in the death of Eric Garner, an unarmed black man who was killed after being put in a chokehold last July, a different jury did indict 22-year-old Ramsey Orta, the man who captured Garner's death on camera.
Orta was charged with weapon possession after being arrested on Aug. 2, less than one month after taping Garner's confrontation with police. As seen in Orta's video, several NYPD officers confront Garner on the street for allegedly selling loose cigarettes. They're then seen bringing Garner to the ground, as Pantaleo places Garner in a chokehold. full article... |

How many arrests did Garner have? 30 or so? SO his criminal friend got indicted for crimes he committed? Crazy shit.
Just a pack of angels out there making the world a better place and doing their part to improve the black neighborhoods where they lived. |

What exactly are loose cigarettes?
Selling them as single cigarettes? |

If only asthma and resisting arrest hadn't gotten in the way of his meteoric rise. |

Anyway, let's just assume that he was buying cartons of Newport 120's in bulk from VA at $5 per pack and selling them individually for $1 each which nets $20 per pack. That's a pretty good margin which could lead to a decent income if he was pushing weight. Relatively speaking, of course, because he probably didn't have many other options. |

You see how normal people do it and don't go to jail for dumb shit? It's really not hard for anyone with an IQ bigger than their shoe size to figure out. In fact for most people that aren't ghetto raised, disrespectful hoodlums, with gold grills, tear drop tattoos, pants around their knees, with a single mother and no father and a long rap sheet, who feel they are entitled to be able to argue and fight and resist, not being an asshole to a cop is not only easy, it's common sense and it ends well every single time. More black people should try it instead of arguing, fighting, resisting and then ultimately getting hurt. |
How about the black gentleman, oops I mean worthless thug, who was commanded to show his license by a South Carolina trooper and when he tried to comply he was shot at 4 times and struck once in the hip? Bad parenting? Long criminal record? Hoodlum from the ghetto? After he was shot he said "What did I do, sir?" and "why did you shoot me?". More backtalk from a ghetto thug.

Shit happens. Another case where someone was acting stupid in front of a cop and it caused a problem. If you get pulled over, don't get out, don't make an attempt to quickly dive back into the cab to grab something and then quickly jump back out in a manner which can easily be confused as being an armed threat. Had the guy pulled a gun up and shot the cop in the face which could have just as easily happened, you wouldn't know or care about it. The guy fully recovered... the cop was fired. |

Yes I am aware of the video, which is why I mentioned the story to you. Naturally your interpretation is that he "turned around quickly and reached into his truck and then spun back around quickly" when what he did was attempt to comply fully with the officers request. Even though the cop was fired and waiting on trial, you still justify his actions and blame the black guy. Rock n roll hoochie koo.

It has nothing to do with black or white.. it has to do with the manner in which he responded to the officers commands. You think the officer was trying to execute someone and record himself with his own dash cam and do it in front of witnesses? Additionally, i am not "justifying" anything. I am saying they both fucked up. You seem to be saying "the poor black guy is just minding his own business and the first white cop to spot him, tries to execute him for absolutely no reason at all because thats exactly what they do". It's pretty fucking obvious that both parties are wrong. It's all on video. |

Jones, 35, survived the shooting. But Groubert, who has since been fired for the incident, has been charged with aggravated assault and battery, a felony that could get him up to 20 years in prison if convicted, the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division said Wednesday.
