Paypal social security number

Had for over 10 years US registered Paypal account with Master card.
Now when they sent new card they ask for social security number to activate the
card. Don't have the SS number. Don't know what to tell them when message them.

Is there any way to avoid this this?

Probably.Tho even with proper ip they can limit your account if you try to add non-us debit card to it.Could be also simply a new way to avoid fake accounts.

There's no way to avoid this, you should not have set up a US Paypal account. :2 cents:

It has to be US SS-number? What's the difference between US and Youarepeeing account?

EDIT: Nevermind, the US account has probably 100 questions about your relations to Al-Qaida or ISIS..

your best bet is likely going to be to get a federal taxpayer ID number (US) (I presume non residents can get one)

call them and use that

Only US accounts can have debit card for Paypal account.
Again, I was using it for 10 years...Friend always mailed
the card every two years. You cut use the card all over
the world, in ATM online etc...

There is no problem with IP. Looks like many of you don't know
anything about this...Never mind.

Just asked...
