First Drink In Over 3 Weeks...

A bottle of cheap Gallo has never tasted so good.....

I only have 1 bottle and I am determined to make it the only one - No nipping down to the all nighter for me...

I quit binge drinking a year ago for the most part. What I've come to realize now is that Budweiser tastes like shit. It was great for getting hammered though.

You will be soon be back to your regular "dosage" that you need to get the high you need.

You are dealing with a sedative drug and nothing more. Everyone who drinks enjoys the numbing effects of the drug...that is the only reason to take the drug.

The other problem with alcohol is that it is physically addictive and that causes two potential problems.

1. You develop a tolerance for it and therefore need more and more to get the desired effect.

2. Since you need more and more of the drug to get the effect. You will also experience withdrawal when you do NOT have that amount in your system. This is commonly known as a craving. Depending on your level of tolerance and dosage it can range from slight discomfort to life threatening.

Best to just abstain totally if you have a problem with alcohol. Life is best experienced sober when you can feel all of it rather than just some of it after being sedated.

And now...back to our regularly scheduled program.

I only binge drink, if you can even call it that. Meaning I drink socially, when I go out with buddies. But I have such a high tolerance for alcohol that I end up being the one carrying the lot of them to cabs. This happens less than a dozen times a year.

Other than that I almost never drink, other than one or two cold beers in the summer, while out fishing. Or the occasional glass of wine with a nice dinner. But even those occasions I can count on my fingers.
