Do you ski?

I don't. Snow is overarted. Let it stay up in the mountains for a pleasant view. I'm going to spend 2 weeks in thermes instead. Ya, bad wasser :) Then gonna watch Krampus in my home town :

Sick shit, but it's fun when you're drunk!

Used to ski a lot when I was younger, also always consumed massive amounts of alcohol on those trips lol

I used to ski all the time when I was younger.

Went to Switzerland - one hour up in a train, ski down all freaking day. They had restaurants on the way down. Came back to the US, one hour in line ten minutes up the lift, ten minutes down. Fuck that. I haven't been on skis since.

Cross-country skiing or just skiing?

I have done the latter as a child/ teenager. The first one when I am hunting at winter during snowy conditions (much easier to move around).

canadians tend to snowboard more these days, i've never liked it, skiing is awesome though.

You get to eat a lot of snow before you really start enjoying the ride.

Been skiing since I was about age 4 up until now(29) and its time for a little change. This will be my first year boarding and just picked up this 155CM Arbor w/ K2 bindings and DC boots. Matches the hardwood floor pretty good if you ask me!

Went to Squaw Valley this past weekend and it was pretty decent. Thinking about going back for Christmas.

I do. My parents now own a small stake in a small local ski resort that they have been instructors at for years. My children are 4,5 and 6 and they have all be riding the chairlift and skiing down the slopes since they were 2. Same deal with my sister and I. I have started young and have no recollection of not being able to ski.

Snowboarding is pretty much the only thing I enjoy and care about.

Ya, starting young adds a lot up, I ride a bike since forever, but tried to ski when I was 26 or so, took me 3 seasons to start enjoying but then somehow I got bored with it and dropped for good.

When I was kid, the cross-country skiing was compulsory at school's gymnastic lessons. Same thing in the army. Despite or because of that, not all love it.

You won't of course see this message, but that is okay, we accept you with your limitations.

You talking about the cocaine?

I love the sport! Will be in Tennessee for New Years and hope the snow gods blanket the whole damn state!
