How much to pay a blog operator?

Currently I have about 700 visitors a day to my blog. I want to bring that number up by optimizing the blog and having someone do this on a regular basis and continually bring the numbers up, while using it to promote my main website, which gets about 40k visitors a month. It has a lot of content which I feel isn't really user friendly and doesn't engage the potential customer.

How much should I expect to pay someone to run this blog website?

I realize there may be a lot of variables, and I don't know them all, but I do need some help and I'm not sure how much to pay.

Thanks.

I know a guy who can do it for you unless he landed some gig recently. He's not that expensive and is a reliable smut writer.

PM me and will give you his handle

$1000 a month for 20 hours is my current minimum rate. I manage a few high traffic food blogs and these ladies have no problem paying that price to know that their sites are online and someone is there should they need them. Some months, I don't do anything. All four are on 1 year contracts, 3 I've been managing for years.
