Paxum support?

Does Paxum have support staff other than Chris and Ruth?

MyDogHasFleas 12-17-2014 05:48 PM

Does anyone know if they do? It's kind of urgent.

420 12-17-2014 05:51 PM

Don't they have a phone number you can call? I wouldn't wait around for an answer from gfy if I had an urgent matter.

AdultKing 12-17-2014 05:53 PM

Where is the phone support located? I called them before and it was some Indian guy I could barely hear.

Actually you're right. . I had look at a recent ticket of mine and response time was about 48 hours, and they weren't able to help me at all with my request..

RuthB 12-17-2014 11:35 PM

If you don't want to deal with myself or Chris, then feel free to email support at paxum dot com for assistance, or open a ticket in the Message Center of your Paxum account.

I sent you an email. By the way... Who operates your message center? Are they people at your Canadian office?

AdultKing 12-19-2014 12:03 AM

3484 Des Sources Blvd., suite 205
Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Quebec

This is a UPS Store amongst a row of shops. The Suite 205 presumably refers to a mail box within that store, I don't think that's the location of their support staff. Paxum is a Romanian operation with a minimal base in Canada that's basically a front for the operations. Cards are issued by a bank in Belize and the ownership is Romanian.

I'm a little confused. Who then runs the message center/support forums? I guess the next question is... Where is the phone support located?

Based upon the one and only time I have called them, the phone support sounded like a half asleep thick accented Eastern European.

You could ask Ruth or Chris where the phone support is located but I doubt they will provide you with an answer.

In my experience the only people who can help you are Ruth and Chris. Unlike most professional peer to peer payment processors Paxum do not seem to have a proper organisational structure of any substance behind them - or if they do it's well hidden.

Who is Ruth and Chris's boss?

That would be a young gentleman called octav moise.

He is probably a difficult person to get a hold of. There is no one in between those two and the owner of the company? Where is the office Paxum performs their daily operations from? There has to be someone running that office.

Why would you contact him anyway?

this was found out when they first started up! :1orglaugh:1orglaugh

shiraz9944 12-20-2014 06:21 PM

would love to know if they actually plan on getting the add funds via credit card back up, it's been almost 4 months now and no change. So I'm assuming this is not and won't be a viable option ever again?

MediaGuy 12-20-2014 06:27 PM

Paxum is nothing but support!

:D

I don't necessarily want to contact him. I've asked Chris, Ruth, and the message center who is in charge. I only wanted to talk to someone further up the chain. I don't expect the owner to drop everything and talk to me. But, you'd think there would be someone else in the chain of command. I've asked and they don't even respond. That's the odd thing to me.

You'd think somewhere there would be an office. Someone is in charge of that office. If you go to McDonald's and ask to speak to the person in charge... You don't expect to talk to the CEO. You expect to talk to whoever is in charge at that moment. You'd expect someone to present themselves as the person in charge. That has not happened here.

I suppose there may be no one in charge. But, that seems so very unlikely. This is a company that has customers all over the world. You'd think that would require quite a few people. Just from a customer service standpoint.

So what's the deal? You need a new card and the 14 forms of id and your parents dna wasn't good enough?

That's pretty common these days. Most companies require more than they used to.

Axeman 12-21-2014 01:33 PM

Chris and Ruth are it. Waste of time trying to talk or get an actual answer from anyone else there.

Sorry to hear, I only uploaded the scans of two of my ID's and it worked just fine for them.

I don't understand what they have to hide. I haven't been able to figure out what the benefit is. Clearly they feel there is something to be gained.

That wasn't much of a problem for me. Though, it's ironic they want more information from you than what they are willing to give about themselves.

It's kind of sad really. That sums it all up.
