How long before The Interview is more successful from online downloading and.....
pirating online than anything Sony would have dreamed of from the theatres?
I am talking about pure viewership. When you tell people you can't watch something, they want to seek it out and watch it even more. The movie was complete shit, and Seth Rogan even backed that up live and in person already. It is only a matter of time until the whole movie is available online for download on a million websites around the world. Huge backfire for whoever doesn't want this out there. I will bet you have many more millions of people watching it now than if they had just let it run it's course. Sony still would have lost money on the movie even if it released. :2 cents: |

Its hard to pirate it if its not released. If they released it this year theres a really good chance it would get pirated immediately from those DVD's they send the awards judges.
I am guessing it will be less affected by piracy in that case if they do a Q1 release in 2015. |
queue Relentless with a comment re: gaming movie marketing.

There are quite a few nifty ways for them to milk this for years. But if they wanna know, they'll have to pay me. :Graucho
If anyone knows someone at Sony Pictures, tell them to feel free to get in touch. :thumbsup :1orglaugh |
This would be an excellent time for Sony to do an https://www.humpthebundle.com style promotion with some going to charity, some towards making money on the movie. It's Xmas time!
