May not make money but could be a valuable asset for some.

Other than 3 neighbors whose faces I know as they drive by me, I do not know the name, occupation or even the face of any of my neighbors in Tennessee (we all have big wooded property). I barely know the names of 10% of my block in Florida and even less in NY.

I see this as a nice tool for community associations of which we have a lot here in Florida and I see more and more new community associations springing up.

It world need to integrate in to FB, Instagram/Pintrest to be really take off though.

My neighborhood has a Facebook page for information like this run by a neighbor that is a realtor.

Nah i think after the 'facebook-lets-be-friends-with-everybody' hype getting actual personal connections again is gonna be the next hot thing.. Quality over quantity!
