Many entrepreneurs can spend decades busting their asses, before they get rich "overnight".

They'd often make more flipping burgers during those years, were it not for their dreams. And, obviously, not everyone makes it.

Most that "get rich overnight" were guys that worked quietly and suffered and struggled and bled for many years before it paid off and when it finally did, observers tend to believe it happened "overnight" because all they see is the success and fruits of his sacrifice.
