We have those all over the place here in the summer. They crap all over the place and honk like crazy! I have had them chase me down too. Thankful I'm lighting fast and could escape before they ate me. Really it was because I was fearing for my life when they stick their stupid necks out and come at you.

They have a tendency to land in roadside vegetable growing fields crapping all over the soil. I see that a lot driving to work in the mornings. No way would I purchase vegetables there.

fighting geese is a right of passage for canadians. I had my first fight when i was 3 years old.. ultimately I lost but I got a few good jabs in there first..

outside of hunting season you mean. They have 3 hunting seasons for them here in MN. 1 of which has no bag limit and you can have as many in your possession at your residence as you want. They even let you hunt them after dark which says a lot. No other bird are you allowed to hunt after sunset.

Its can be a bitch to cook because it dries out so quickly but goose is one of my favorite birds. Tastes almost like red meat.

I like to shoot them because they have Canadian in their name.
