Play Station 4 OR XBox One, need your suggestion
 

I used to be a big gamer in past but was not really had time due to IM business, but I want to experience these new power stations


I have read reviews of both Play Station 4 and Xbox One, and more I read more difficult it is becoming for me to decide which one to buy on this Christmas...

so which one do you recommend for playing hardcore 3D games?

I have both. I would say the xbox is better. Every time i turn on the playstation to try to play a game I have to do a system update and a game update which takes 30-40 minutes.

I LOVE my PS4, it's quite amazing and it's got a LOT better exclusives and k0nr4d, if you leave your system in standby mode (which they actually recommend over completely shutting off), it'll download all the updates when your not playing, so all you need is a minute to install them.

I guess one other option would be to see which system your friends have because then you'll have people to connect with and game together. It's always more fun multiplaying with people you actually know.

I bought XBOX ONE to play Far Cry 4. Can't say I'm somehow amazed with the "new gen" graphics.

very serious question here and I'm interested in your comments too. i own a PS3 for years and it still rocks. Since i have to keep my PS3 in order to read PS3 games (fuck sony for that), I wonder if i should buy a xbox one instead of PS4...

Owner of two PS3s and bought an Xbox One a month ago. Pretty happy so far.
Went ahead with Xbox this time, because Microsoft as a Software company is way ahead of Sony when it comes to updates and new features. I am no pixel nazi so what ever games are in 900p or 1080p is no deal breaker for me. Story and gameplay is.

I will probably get a PS4 as well for the exclusives, but my faith in next-Gen is with MS, unified Windows 10 experience across phone, console, PC, tablet and tv.

I've got both...PS4 is what I end up playing more often than not. As for what K0nr4d said, I have never had any issues with updates being frequent or taking a long time. I do not leave my PS4 in standby mode either I shut it down completely when I'm done.

I have a PS4 at home and a Xbox one in the office and I have to say, the PS4 wins in my opinion.

Its a shame that Sony decided to stop the ability to play older gen games on the new console but its still awesome!

We have both on the main TV and just purchased the kids a PS4 for their playroom, as that's the one that gets the most play here.

Both consoles update their software often, and when you begin a new game most likely there are a few updates for that game as well. So this can go either way

PS4 has better resolution and framerate. Resolution its pretty hard to tell the difference between 900p and 1080p, but framerates on xbone I've found to be sub-par.

PS4 has more exclusives, and if you subscribe to PS+ for $40/year you get a bunch of free games every month.

Researched it and bought the PS4 for my son. Graphics are better than xbox and you can change out the harddrive. No regrets.

I have a PS4 and love it. But honestly you can't go wrong with either machine...

I don't think you can go wrong with either platform, but my choice is Xbox. I still play Xbox 360 games several times a week for years now and never had a single issue with it and for this reason, will upgrade to an Xbox One sometime in the near year.

Historically the Playstation has always had better exclusive titles than the XBOX. Future-proof yourself and go with the PS4. ;)

ps. bonus benefit: it's a sexier machine.

I would say the graphics are pretty equal, but Sony always has the better exclusives, and more of them.

ALWAYS more exclusives, unless that changes with this generation.
