the amateur "commercial" in the op is in no way representative of reality. Reality in USA for a kid who carries around a handgun in his backpack all day at school then whips it out to his teacher is a psycho kid who would be apprehended and dealt with as a threat, that is if he didn't start shooting.

I've seen fully developed stories with a beginning, middle and end all wrapped up in a three minute short.

When my son was a schoolboy, his record was something about 20+ seconds. Maybe 22-23 or so (don't remember exactly).

We had a gun range in my highschool. That is in Canada...yep.
