Content Removal Service
Who do you recommend for content removal service?
|
Just login to ssh and use rm command, no?
|
No I mean for pirated content lol.
|
Ok, have luck. ;-)
|
I recommend finding out who the uploader is first, then using what I call "Passive Protection" to make sure your knowledge goes undetected and your members content is no longer distributed by the person.

Do you want to send them DMCA's or do you want to target the individuals uploading/posting the content?
JimmyStephens (spelling), a member here has had success pursuing individuals posting his content. Site owners also if I recall correctly. |
But do any of these services actually, you know, INCREASE sales, revenue, etc?
Or are they there just to make you feel better about piracy? LOL |

Are you asking if they actually pursue pirates or just send DMCA notices? |

And by "effective" I mean have any paysites been able to track whether using such a service has led to more sales, increased revenue, better SERPs etc. Because if you cannot quantify if the removal service is actually helping your business (i.e., making you money) then what good is it? It just makes you FEEL better, knowing you are doing something to combat the illegal spread of your content. I actually wonder if all these torrent links, user uploaded videos, Member Areas rips etc act as some kind of fucked up advertising at this point. As long as the vids are properly watermarked, of course. :D After all, when you think about it, a pirate can probably spread a watermarked video around the Internet a fuck lot faster than I can by uploading to a handful of Content Partner tubes. :D |
I can do it for you :)

Pornguardian - automated reports, well connected & fast. I've used them on and off through the years. When there's a spat of piracy I sign-up for a few months, they clean everything up then I cancel. Some spats are longer than others. :thumbsup

How difficult would it be for someone to create a buffering system that would insert a unique hidden code inside the ripped video so that the identity of the perpetrator could be revealed?
