Most smartphone for the buck?
Im interested in purchasing a smartphone, which model will give me the most for the buck ?
I does not have to be the latest with features that make every smartphone hardcore owner drewl... Can also be a really cheap one... I do like good sound but not necessary, for instance it should sound well when plugging in some high end senneheiser over-ear headphones. Thanks |
Just go for an Apple iPhone 6. Nothing else compares to iPhones. Androids try to catch up and their sheeple praise them because they don't know any better. iPhone is king.

Lumia 5 or 6 series (various models) are great for the buck as well (I used them for some time), but many people are too close minded to try WP, which is probably the smoothest ruinning OS out there. |

At face value Apple may appear overpriced but once you factor in the time savings due to IOS just working and the superior eco system than really it's cheaper in the long run over inferior devices that hang and crash with an upfront cheaper price. :2 cents: |

Never had a problem with my samsung s3. Still using it now.

Geeezuz guys... the truth is, both Apple AND Android products are great - you really can't go wrong buying either one. They both do more or less the same things, at the same speeds, at similar prices. Check out both and buy the one that just "feels right" and you'll be happy.
Peace. |
I use an iPhone, but I just grabbed a Nexus 5 for my wife which is a really nice phone.
A great option for people looking to save money is a Moto g (Motorola Moto G - Full phone specifications ) which is an amazing phone for under $200 (unlocked / contract free). It has dual sim cards, which often allows you to combine the cheapest data-only plan with the cheapest voice plan saving you $20+ per month, and is great for roaming too. Also the SD card allows you to swap in more storage as needed. |

I see at least a couple here read 'most for the buck' as 'most buck'.

i was once a nokia user then i switched to samsung, i sticked with it since then. besides being user-friendly i find it a lot cheaper than apple which as mentioned earlier, do the same thing as apple. haha

I have experience with a few HTC's and 4-5 Samsung Galaxy models.
Galaxy S3 still runs great (my daughter has it now). Wife has a Galaxy S5 and if you can cope with the close-to-brick size of it, you'll love it. She also has a Galaxy S3 Mini as her business phone, which I honestly find more handy. But it's also significantly inferior in terms of tech specs. Me, I went from the Galaxy S3 to the Galaxy S4 Mini. About half the price of the S5, but significantly smaller. I have a problem with brick-size phones. :) Anyway, it handles all games I've tried flawlessly. 8GB default storage, which I increased to the maximum of 8GB + 64GB memory card. It's quite fast and chances are that getting anything newer is pretty much overkill. Overall I love it. I have weeks of music on it for when I hit the gym and I can even download the occasional movie on it, to watch when stuck waiting outside the store, while the wife is shopping inside. Anyway, you can get it for less than $200, depending on where you shop. The only alternative to the S4 Mini I'd consider is the S5 Mini. However the differences are pretty slight, so IMO paying almost double for the S5 Mini is not worth it. The only property it has, that I wish my S4 Mini had too, is that it's waterproof. So if you tend to carry your phone in your breast pocket and bend over when you flush the toilet, then the S5 Mini is for you. :1orglaugh BTW, search Google for some reviews for these. Plenty of reputable sites test them and post detailed reviews. Hope this helped. :thumbsup |
iPhone 6, bro. Samsung Android phones suck... SERIOUSLY.

A one plus couldn't touch the deal I got on my nexus 6/ATT with 30 gigs data. Not to mention the phone on this device is the best damn phone on a cellular device I've ever had. |

It's difficult to help the OP because he doesn't state what's important, other than playing headphones good. depending on that, the most smartphone for the buck could very well be buying a device on contract, etc. who knows really. |
lg nexus 5
