this classic rock song makes a lot of sense.
|
I always joke that the song for my son is "Dreamer" by Supertramp.
Personally, I think this classic rock song makes the most sense today: |
Great song.
Crime of the Century is their best album IMO. |
Tons of classic rock songs from that era make sense, and are going to stand the test of time for a long time to come.
Which is something I can't say for most of today's musical spewage. |

Supertramp - excellent music, School is my favorite :thumbsup

Actually, the sad thing is try and find a classic rock song that DOES NOT make sense today. Yet look at the world....more Supertramp dammit!!! Bloody Well Right!

90% or more of today's music is garbage. |

In 1987 I interviewed The Bee Gees. They had a comeback hit with 'One'. Anyway I remember Barry saying what he was really worried about was what he termed 'standards'. He said when The Bee Gees were starting out their standard were bands like The Beatles, meaning they had to try and be as good as them (impossible but that was the Goal). Barry said today (1987!!) someone can take out a keyboard, hit a few buttons and what comes out is pretty close to what you hear on the radio. So he was worried that musicians in the future would become lazy and not try to master their instruments (or voices). Wow! So that has stayed with me all these years when I hear all this auto-tuned shit (hilarious/painful when these "artists" try and sing live) and bands that can barely play four chords. Child Of Vision. LOL |
Don't see the need to discuss about rock music, a coming sharia will ban all music.
|
Only one song has ever made sense to me....
