high chance - chaturbate infect me with flash malware
i was surfing the exhib section of the the site yesterday ,
my flash player was not updated , i have been getting many warning to update to latest firefox version which has patched flash plugin. but i ignored that . i always like older versions because they are lighter and stable + classic look , however i was forced 100% after what happened with chaturbate to update browser . please read so first thing i did noticed that left me suspicious while in female room the video player went white -not loaded correctly..in few sec's internet become very slow and laggy i decided to try search engine to check normal functions there is no much multimedia but google notify me that my computer network sending a lot of requests "unusual traffic " i have to put the captcha letters-numbers to continue...seems my computer under bot attack ! i googled the reason of this problem the answer was malware :O https://support.google.com/websearch/answer/86640?hl=en pay attention i'm the only person who use this wireless network setup it by myself nobody around can hack it ! its WPA2 / AES with strong long key and mac filter ....also i can't believe someone can hack me from internet in fact my laptop using ubuntu precise if i'm noob clicked on something 99% chances they can't get me. router is shutdown now ....using another one maybe i should not trust them by allowing flash technically what malicious flash able do 1,2,3 could be above my knowledge but i had a look into router though no strange ports opened, forwarded ... i hope they are not spreading something nasty to machines with older specs. in case chaturbate was not the source of problem (lets say slow program active in the background that killed all my network ) i apologize for making this thread but my brain radar spotted chaturbate . |
What kind of protection are you running? Meaning anti-virus, anti-malware, etc...

But you know that there is a "high chance that chaturbate infected you" ??? There is a high chance that you are an idiot and really owe Chaturbate an apology. . |

also this the second time u be rude with me on the public forum . mr, please can you stick to subject without insult or mocking ? thanks |
sarettah expressed this a bit harsh, but it's true that you should be very careful with such accusations.
This Google message is not a proof that you are infected with malware. It is only an indicator. There could also be something wrong with your network settings. I know this message very well, as I get the same when I automatically scrape data from Google or use SEO tools. Are you doing something similar? You are using Linux. This decreases the chances of an infection even further. You should, however, always update your software. Finally, even if you really got infected, there still would be no proof that this comes from chaturbate. You could have been infected a long time ago and the malware only got active recently. |

2. If you wanted to report a problem, you should report it to Chaturbate not GFY's Q&A section which is for Questions and Answers. Quote:

That really is no proof at all. Btw, the message that google gave you (and the captcha) indicates that your computer is sending stuff out not getting hit. Like Marvin says, that is what google does when you are hitting it too fast and too often. . |

Well, sorry you felt that way, as I said that day, it was not my intent. Just because you felt that way though did not mean I was rude. A feed is a particular thing and it has particular information in it. You confused me when you called something a feed that was not a feed. Since the discussion did center around the feed, it was a key component towards trying to understand what you were asking. It is not my fault that you did that and I was not being rude or cruel when I questioned it. I was merely trying to give you good information. But don't worry about it because it certainly will not happen again. :thumbsup :321GFY . |
Nice infos. :)
