She's very good!

I was searching on Google for information about the origins of that odd accent actors in old movies all have - it's called a Mid-Atlantic accent, used to make one sound refined and highly educated. This girl here does it near the end of the video where she does 21 different accents - she nails most of them.

Called trans-atlantic. I think she was really good...I'd like to see her pull off a Philly accent. I think it's hard to do.

when does her sex tape come out? Things like actual talent will get you nowhere as an actress these days.

mineistaken 01-21-2015 02:12 PM

Impressive :)

I did not understand what was after the NZ.

I also was shocked by Brooklyn accent (as a non American I still related to all the US accents presented except Brooklyn, sounds overboard Italian immigrant, especially when she says "fiiive". Not so much as a generic Brooklyn).

So where does trans atlantic accent come from? I mean is it East coast accent from the 1940s or some artificial accent that was learned for the TV/movies?

based on what? she spoke 2 throughout all of that... and one was only 3 words.

I was in a cab in Boston, and the driver was complaining about how he had no place to "park the car" except he said it "paaack the caaah" with a nasal, loud, almost yanomamo style "ah" sound. We were so stunned by the stereotypichiality of it that we couldn't respond for several minutes.

SilentKnight 01-21-2015 04:48 PM

SekobA 01-22-2015 02:39 PM

She's got a good handle on it but probably wouldn't fool many locals given what she's doing is really just mimicking.
