Video shows man shot by New Jersey police raising his hands

BRIDGETON, N.J. (AP) ? With the dashboard camera in their cruiser rolling, police pulled a Jaguar over for running a stop sign on a dark New Jersey night. But things suddenly turned tense when one of the officers warned his partner that he could see a gun in the glove compartment.

Screaming over and over "Don't you f---ing move!" and "Show me your hands!" at the man in the passenger seat, the officer reached into the car and appeared to remove a silver handgun.

Then, despite being warned repeatedly not to move, the passenger stepped out of the Jaguar, his hands raised about shoulder level.

The officers opened fire, killing him.

The video of the Dec. 30 killing of Jerame Reid in Bridgeton, a struggling, mostly minority city of 25,000 people about 35 miles south of Philadelphia, was released this week, raising a host of questions and stirring anger over yet another death at the hands of police.

The nearly two-minute deadly standoff came after the killings of black men in New York and Ferguson, Missouri, triggered months of turbulent protests, violence and calls for a re-examination of police use of force.

I watched the video and... I saw two police officers pull over a car, a weapon was spotted, both officers drew their firearms, ordered them not to move and.... After multiple warnings the mother fucker just decided not to listen to a police officer and opened the car door and stepped out?

WTF?

The mother fucker got what he deserved. When a police officer has a firearm trained at you, you do everything he says. You don't do the direct opposite.

I fail to understand why people don't get this.

The culling of stupid people from the herd continues... :thumbsup

A couple generations of shitty parenting coming to their predictable ends. Guy points gun at you, gives you clear instructions, warns you again and again and again and again to stop what you are doing and show him your hands, yells out loud "he's reaching for something" and so on and then the guy randomly gets out of the car, comes at the officer and gets shot.

Notice how the driver keeps his hands where they can be seen and isn't shot? Pretty simple to understand.

And the victim? The officers knew him, knew his history and the deceased had a felony criminal record and had already served time in prison for shooting at a state police officer.

Moral of the story? Don't be a fucking douchebag piece of shit and you'll have no problems.

I wonder which part of "don't move" these motherfuckers have difficulty to understand

Seriously, I wonder if its genetic. Cop tells you 'do not move' and they do complete opposite of that.

You should always listen to the police, even if they are dumb fucks.

They're like sheep. Just black. Black sheep, following their herd.

Makes sense, no? They don't want to stand out from the crowd.
