Slow juicers, who has em?

A couple of weeks ago - at the request of the females in the house - I bought a juicer. Not knowing wtf was what I just went to the store, spoke to a salesman and bought one that was supposed to not break. It did of course.

I also learnt that regular juicers waste too much veggies compared to a slow juicer. So I figure a slow juicer is the way to go.

Anyone here juicing and have a tip on a solid machine that won't fucking break and is relatively easy to clean? I seem to recall a juicing thread around here, but my searching skills fail me this morning.

Good luck with that. Loads of moving parts full of fiber ALL slow juicers are a pain to clean.

I have a Greenstar 3000. Not sure where they're at these days with their product line as I bought mine quite a few years ago.

Excellent product. :thumbsup

I had heard great stuff about the Nutribullet as it is easy to clean but looking at, I am not sure it is a juicer. hahahaha

I use the nutri bullet (not a juicer) but more of an extraction device leaving in all the stuff that's good for you.

I had a juicer and it was too much trouble for me to deal with, nutri bullet or ninja is the way to go.

That one looks pretty cool actually, thanks. I presume that you used during those years too?

Yea that's a blender, the misses actually have one of those I think. Not what we need. Thanks though.

Blending is better for you than juicing. Get yourself a VitaMix.

I've got one and it's great, you could juice a brick with it. And very easy to clean.

I have a Breville brand juicer, 700 watts. You can get larger sizes. The one I have works really well and I can put the parts in the dishwasher to clean instead of dealing with messy cleanup. I bought it on Amazon.

Here is the link (not an affiliate link, it's just a link to the product)

What you're referring to is actually called "cold press" juicers. Using that search term should help you find what you're after

Masticating Juicer

I researched Blenders and Juicers for a few weeks when I was shopping for one. If you decide to go with a juicer, Omega is the brand I would pick. I decided however to go with a blender instead. I bought a Blendtec blender for a few hundred less than the Vitamix. Wished I would have gone with a Vitamix instead.

PS.

Clean up is the main reason I went with a blender. Add some soap and water and spin for a little bit. All done.

juicers suck! But my "blender" rocks!

Picked it up last Nov and love it! it was cheaper then at $260 compared to $330 it is now but well worth the money :2 cents:
