Program Owners: what type of gallery converts better for you?
 

I have noticed that picture galleries convert the best for our program (AmateurDough.com), which I think is funny with the hype about videos nowadays.

How about for your program?

I have found the same. Picture galleries work better than video galleries, or even 'hybrids' (15 pics and 1 video). I think it's because the target audience (guys who actually pay) are older and more into pictures, having grown up on Playboy etc.

Also it may be that where these galleries are placed (the Hun, other TGPs, blogs) are a far different place than a tube with dozens of videos on the homepage. People have to read to some extent (the gallery title, description, blog post, etc). Also, not all video galleries work on all devices so maybe that's an issue, too.

I thought it was for our niche (shemales), but it's interesting to see it's also for normal girls. You're right on about the target audience. The younger crowd, which is the demographics that prefer videos to photos, doesn't buy porn; they rather download free videos. Which makes me realize in 10 years you and I will be out of business, since that same younger crowd will be the 30-somethings with the buying power and the bad habit of watching ONLY free porn :(

AmateurDough vids are very short and i would say bandwith has alot to do with it viewing vids on mobile/dongle cains the credit

same here. Galleries do fine in my niche (teens). Interestingly, I've released 20+ MP galleries that sell just 8% better than video screencaps :upsidedow
