If you are promoting cam girls, do you have multiple differente cam affiliates links from different sponsors (e.g. pussycash, awe, webcams etc etc) all over your site, or do you just stick to one?

I have live cams on daily in my members area, although promote one other cam site outside on my index page & some fhgs we send to thehun, although i'm not a cam affiliate, but nice to be part of the conversation :thumbsup

i do webcams, pussycash and some bonga right now webcams.com is leading the pack on revshare so im hammering them a bit harder than the rest

Just going to open my own, I'm missing out on too much money it seems as an affiliate.

I think it is best to test a lot of programs, but mostly push 1 to 4 which convert best for you.

I have 4 different ones on my site and none has converted yet. It's so messy to track them and wondered if I should get it down to just one.

Push the premium cams first, then hit them with the free when they don't bite.

Are you using their creatives? Other than flash or pop-ups, I have a designer do the creatives for me. Most in-house cam creatives tend to get overused, stale. You can also split test landing pages if the program features different LP's, most do.

i do get more sign ups though on xlovecam than any other programs, but still no conversions.

I use a variety of side banners, to a blog post about web cam girls, and a post about a particular model. as well as a full landing page called live webcam with an iframe of live model.

I see a wide variation in free signups to paid-in conversions.
To my thinking, free sign-ups show customer interest -- otherwise, why would they bother signing up? They could just close the page and move on too ... There is no lack of competition in this business -- the cam business is highly commoditized -- that is a fact.

If you have a lot of USA traffic: Right now, at the moment, the Euro value collapse has lowered our prices a lot in US Dollar terms, a good selection of models are available at $2/min (or less) -- the models at XloveCam can set their own prices -- $0.99 to $4.99 per min. Expressing that value proposition might improve CTR and paid-in conversions better. "New Lower Prices"?

I've always done white labels. Ran Cams.com white labels long time ago and for the last few years my white labels are all through http://Streamate.com.

with cams its all about patience. if you don't have that it is not for you.

Multiple and more importantly be able to switch things up with little work. Keep track of performance and switch to maximize your revenue.

Cams are not about instant purchases. A delay of 2 to 10 days before a first purchase is not uncommon. It's like going fishing in the sea: Sometimes you net some anchovies and sometimes harpoon a whale. I have seen customers spend $1000's in a month or two. A customer that only spends $29.95 is an anchovy, a customer that only spends $100 is appreciated. However, most customers spend $400 or more a year at premium cam websites.

IMO, customers that spend $100 - $200 a month for years are the best kind -- guys with money playing for kicks ;)

There's two types of people, IMO:

1. Those who really love the live interaction side of things that cam sites provide
(Viewing cams & chatting to other members in a group setting becomes a regular part of their lives)

2. Those who may view cams occasionally, but they're not necessarily predispositioned to it
(cams aren't the be-all and end-all to these people)

Focusing on the first group is never a bad idea. If you have time on your side and the patience to do so, you can't beat Revshare.

Type 1 people will eventually spend money, really, it's just a matter of time.

No conversion as in PPS or Revshare. Had plenty of PPL. I just don't like the ideas of one little conversion off one sponsor and another little bit off another and never reach the withdrawal limit. Hence the original question. Should I stick to one putting all my effort promote one site or spread it all. Guess it is testing and testing. So far crakrevenue is the winner with PPL.
