Seems like something that will eventually be thrown out, but why has he been in prison for 8 months already? That's fucked.
|
With a name like that he should be in prison!
|
It's a "slippery slope" -- what's next?
Violent video games, violent television and violent movies? When none of the above existed there was violence in the world anyway ... Violent TV or rap did not start the Crusades -- did it? Speech begat the violence -- historically. So, let's all sit in a circle and sing "Kumbaya" I don't see any real difference from the allegations that porn causes rape or [_*insert offense*_]. Hopefully, that California law will end up being nullified by the US Supreme Court -- that is where this belongs. |

To me the law was meant to not let rappers or anyone sing about real gangs in a way that glorified them and thus driving other young kids and people into it. But this guys lryics talk about guns and bullets but never mention any gangs or real life violence that they are trying to connect him to. This guy either doesn't have a very good lawyer or is trying to make a name for himself to be in prison for all these months before going to court, cause any good lawyer could've gotten this thrown out before now. :2 cents: |
guy landed himself in some big doo doo.
|
actually after rereading the article it sounds like this is what it will come down to

Thats bullshit. Guy has no criminal record. Unless they have evidence of him committing crimes they shouldn't be able to touch him in a civilized world.
Reminds me of a local incident...a member of the Hell's Angels was refused a renewal of his liquor license at his strip bar because of his "gang" relations. That is understandable, but throwing someone in prison for 25 years for no reason sure isn't. If i put on a t-shirt that says "member of the crips" and then start throwing gang hand signs on facebook and talking about local murders i read on yahoo news could i get 25 years as well? |
Well, then that vapid mutant assed cunt Kim Kardashian should be in prison then for exposing the world not only to her incredibly disfigured ass but also her massive stupidity BUT looks like the first amendment protects that disgusting excuse for a human being.

Solicitation to commit murder might be a better fit in that situation. |
as much as i dislike that kind of music and the way those "musicians" present themselves or rap about - this is absurd

Eh. California is the land of fruits and nuts; we're usually way ahead of everyone else in the realm of stupid prosecutions.
