After Vegas, your feelings ?
Hi Guys,
First of all, thank you very much for the Internext organization team and AVN for such a great event, can't wait for next year. Just a little topic to check what did you enjoy the most during the shows ( yes the party and the girls but apart from that ), I really enjoyed the sessions regarding A/B testing . What about you guys ? Winnie ;) |
Vegas is a shithole. I'd better move Internext to New Orleans...
|
I don't know about Vegas but the events (GFY and AVN) were ... a lot!
It's the first time I attend and they were quite overwhelming. I need sleep now :))) |
Lets go vegas.:)

It starts the moment you land at their shitty airport and it never gets better. |

We didn't really go into my topic, but fair enough :)
Vegas rock |
Still hate Vegas but the show itself was well put together
|
Vegas is always fun and show was amazing !
|
I thought the bitches lounge was really awesome and I wish it had been on the first day so you can network more with the people you meet in there later on.
The football suite party was cool for lounging on an afternoon. I liked how most things were on site and didn't involve going too far. Being only 5 minutes from ASW at the Paris was a big bonus. |

It's a fun town to visit once a year. Good food, entertainment, a little bit of gambling maybe. What's to hate Roald? Hater! :winkwink: |

P.S. One of my best friends is a poker player. He makes about $500 on poker tournaments in Vegas (not too much but he's always in plus) every time he visits it and he also pulls me there. I'm not a player. Oh, ok I can do $1000 on roulette from a single $25 chip but only in Russia where is only one zero. In Vegas it doesn't work because every roulette there have two (fuckun' 2) zeros. I can't believe till I saw them with my own eyes. WTF??? |

If you want to experience a European feeling in North America, I suggest a trip to Quebec City. Clean, beautiful, historic. |

If I had known I would could have said: Hey remember me? I made that trailer for you so many years ago. Now I'm all grown up :) |
i think i worked harder this Internext than any other. i also did ASW all day Sunday and that show was amazing too. things i will remember not to do next year:
drive to Vegas speak on panel on the last day go the hardest the night before i speak on panel jager shots with HubPerson Michael at 3am in Lucky's demand security escort from the club to the taxi line over schedule meetings so i'm locked away eat disco fries in the middle of the night |
Hey William - this is Owen from Vendo. Nice meeting you and Michael, and thanks for the shout about our panel and workshops :). You were at both workshops! We did cover different topics with different participants at each -- did you find them both to be helpful?

There are also no open container laws on the strip in vegas. So you can still get drunk in public. Just less police cause I reckon bourbon street is a tad more dangerous from what I remember walking around at 3am |
It was my first show working for AVN covering Internext , GFY Awards and All of AVN. Everyone was great to me and looking foward to going back to shooting full time.
|
i wasnt able to attend

InterNext and AEE were productive shows. There's definitely business to be done if you network with the right people.
The stench of cigarette smoke everywhere including the hotel rooms was the worst part of Las Vegas. |
For me both Internext and ASW were productive shows! Great people and networking as usual. Smoke and no fresh air in Vegas is always a pain but we will be back for more next year inspite of that fact ;)
Hope everybody have recovered. WilliamHubpeople, you want black or orange tie from Trafficshop? :) |

The problem for me isnt so much Vegas, as it can have fun there for 2-3 days max. The problem is that the Hard Rock is a shit hole filled with a terrible ventilation system and white trash running around. Everything about the hotel is just dirty. I was only at the show two nights and that was plenty. I dont know how some of you stayed there for a week.
As much of a pain in the ass it is to stay at another hotel like the Wynn, Cosmo or Venetian, I will probably do that next year. The Hard Rock is really that bad. |
I think we should all just pitch in and buy an island for the next one. Vegas is so dirty.

Surprisingly, this may have been the most business-successful show I've ever attended. Only two meetings no-showed (amazing for LV) and almost everyone I met with, was looking for results rather than just the typical blah blah. I can't believe that internext kept me so busy... only had two hours at ASW, but still managed to get everything done!
Also got to meet quite a few new people which is always exciting. The circle bar is hands down one of the best meeting points at any show. EVERYONE ends up there at one point or another. 2015 is off to a great start, let's hope this trend of awesome shows continues with Barcelona and Phoenix! |

Actually the strip is one of the "nice" places in Vegas. If you go a few blocks off the strip it looks like bad parts of Mexico mixed with scenes from "The Walking Dead." 70 pound methed out men begging for change in 115 degree heat. Hell on earth. There is obvious a wide range of experiences depending on where you stay. For example, it could easily argued that Vegas has the best food in the world. However, there is a huge different between the Wynn/Bellagio/Venetian experience and the Hard Rock/Circus Circus one. |
