Ahhhhh Dubai, if there's one place which is the luxury capital of the world - it's Dubai. Just cannot get enough of this place.... Atlantis and The Dubai Mall is amazing.

In Dubai the law states that tourists also need a licence to drink alcohol, even in a licenced hotel or home. :1orglaugh

if something goes wrong and the police are called, and if there’s evidence of alcohol and there’s no licence to be shown, it’s very possible they’ll end up being taken into custody and charged with “drinking without a licence”.

One drink is probably enough to put you in jail or fined $300

There's a shit load of Russians in Dubai and they love it.

Exactly, India is not far from Dubai so its the obvious choice for cheap labour primarily for all the construction projects going on like Trump project that happening at the moment. The real estate in Dubai is amazing, some of most ingenius architecture. Most of the best bars and clubs are in hotels so you get to see the level of luxury is mind blowing. The Burj Khalifa just has to be seen especially inside - the marble work is exquisite.

There's a reason why Dubai airport is the most trafficked in the world...

Been there couple of times. Way too many smelly people.

The the place is as artificial as Paris Hilton's tits.

Without oil to import technology the place would still be a desert. It is all man made and will be forgotten as soon as there is a replacement for oil.

The people can go back to eating sand and stoning to death their women. The sooner the better if you ask me.
