What is the meaning of "label" in xxx business?

Everybody uses white label cams, things like that. I dont understand what it means. Can you explain all meanings and uses of this?

Thanks.

according to wikipedia:

"In the past x's were used to indicate kisses. Three x's, like xxx, would mean 3 kisses ... Starting the 70s due to the illicit nature of the pornography industry at the time three x's - which here indicated three kisses on tip of the penis - was a way to label movies in a covert way to escape the notice of law enforcement let still inform the porn consumer about the nature of the content."

White label is like a blank labelled version of a site, that you can customise to your tastes and URL

You can upload a logo you make, change the colour scheme and make it your own, but the actual content comes from someone else - They own it, but you get commission.

A bit like sending someone to a different site, but you dont actually send them anywhere, cause its a white label, so they are already there...

It also means you dont need hosting for it - they host it and you point your domain to it...

That pr it means something racial... ???

I've never really understood what "cloud" is too. Sounds similar to this...

Surely you'd heard of white label records?

The easiest way to see what a white-label is is with images.

There's the well-known brand:

You could create your own and be a small brand:

You could be a white-label and sell another brand (usually the well-known brand):

(*) These cans are white-label cans selling Del Monte peas.

You don't own anything as a white label and you can lose everything by a snap of a finger if the well-known brand decides to drop you or if you have issues getting paid.
