True story...

In the the wild and wacky days of my youth I popped some tabs of acid and took a walk in my quaint little suburban Connecticut town. Suddenly I spied some people walking by and what do you know... they looked like they were melting.

Freaked me right the fuck out as I was new to the world of hallucinogens and surprised at the vividness of the vision.

Could of been hours, could have been seconds, but I moved on and never forget the sight.

Years later, I came back for a visit to the town and was walking down the street, not tripping, completely straight, straighter than a cop in starched pants and I saw the melting people again...

Realized they were actually severe burn victims.
